Supply Chain Management
Supply Chain Management (SCM) supports key businesses in PETRONAS by managing and providing access to the best and most cost-effective resources and specialised requirements. Amongst other functions, our teams plan, strategise, source and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to gain a sustained competitive advantage.

Our employees come from diverse backgrounds such as Engineering, Information Technology, Legal, Finance and Business. Good interpersonal skills are valued as we will engage with various stakeholders such as end-users from plant operations, plant maintenance, project teams, suppliers and contractors. Applicants may also look forward to opportunities to support the various businesses within the Group in Malaysia as well as internationally.

Sulaiman Bujang Awi
Supply Chain Management
  I am a senior manager in Supply Chain Management and my tasks include the management of materials, warehousing support and logistics.

My work has given me various invaluable opportunities to work overseas through cross-posting assignments. To date, I have acquired 7 years worth of overseas working experience in Sudan and Ethiopia, plus several months in Uzbekistan.


The knowledge I have amassed from those years overseas – plus the constant training I received from PETRONAS – has been absolutely priceless. And now that I am tasked with coaching young leaders and new executives, I am able to give back what I have gained by putting that knowledge to use for the benefit of the company.


I firmly believe that PETRONAS’ culture of knowledge-sharing and mentoring is a key contributing factor to the company’s continued success, ensuring that it will always have a well-trained group of next-generation leaders to call upon to bring the organisation to greater heights of excellence.
